Hello Coders, We at geekswags, here with another great opportunity.
As you know, google organizes various competitions like code jam, kick start, hash code each year. In this blog, I am going to explain to you about Google Hash code 2021. Where you will get an opportunity to solve a real google engineering challenge, win some cash prizes, and free google goodies.
What is Google Hash code?
Hash code was created in 2014 by a few Google engineers. Hash Code is a team programming competition for students and professionals around the globe, which is organized by Google every year. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or pro. This competition is for everyone. This contest consists of two rounds: the first round (“Qualification round”) and the second-round (“World finals”). You will have to make a team and choose a programming language, then they will provide an engineering problem to solve. As this contest is hosted online, your team can also compete alongside other teams in your area by joining a virtual Hub.
Any student and working professional who are at least 16 years are eligible. There is a minimum of two members requirement in a team. A participant can leave a team or withdraw from the HC contest prior to such a deadline. And if it happens, you must need at least two members throughout the duration of the contest. In order to participate in the World Finals, there also your team must have at least two members. Each participant can only participate on one team.
How to participate?
You will find a registration link below. Once you’ve registered for the contest, you’ll have access to their Judge System. The Judge System is an online platform where you’ll form your team, join a Hub, practice, and compete during the rounds. During the Online Qualification, you’ll watch their YouTube Livestream to be introduced to the problem, and your team will have four hours to solve an optimization problem using the programming language and tools of your choice. The top teams from the Online Qualification will be invited to the virtual World Finals, where they’ll work together to solve another challenge and compete for cash prizes.
